In the absence of heroes, you need to exploit the trait system. I have had success so far, netting myself about 4,000 PP by Belgum. The following is an in depth explanation for the what, why and how of those traits. Deep Recon. Part of the difficulty in generalissmus is the baseline of 50 accuracy for you and 70 accuracy for the enemy. However, this does diddly and squat early game, where PP gathering really counts and can become PP intensive. Deep recon mitigates this by the 15 accuracy buff provided vs the normal 10. So, with a single recon, your now 65 vs 70 which is a lot more manageable. If you happen to have two recons, that is a whopping 80 accuracy. This paid for Deep Recon and is more of a hidden perk and less of a deterrent. Although it is true it can interfere with railway travel and your air force operations, it also forces you to play cautiously. AA vet. Ive doted on about this perk before. AA actually damaging planes is good. Trust me. Green Army. Again with the theme of saving PP, this is quite manageable. Most units you have will only lose about a point or two of strength if playing well. The ones hard hit can always be one of the 3 elite reinforcements you get in between rounds. You set up your turtle ball, and when the enemies pieces are right up against yours, you split your stuff, bombard the sausage out of them and force surrenders. This will carry you PP wise and as a bonus, you might even have access to better equipment than whats available. Having an encirclement deal a ton of suppression really minimizes losses for you. Dont forget to attack with a weak split unit to minimize enemy losses to really milk the PP. To afford all of that, I had to pick something I initially thought would be painful - Inept logistics. That -10 CP sucks. However, it turned out all right for this build since flexible command mitigates your lack of board presence. CP also means you save PP since thats 10 less stuff you can buy.
